1. Purpose of the Service
SpendLens AI analyses submitted LLM usage metadata to estimate spend, group and classify workloads, identify Prompt Waste Signals, compare model pricing and suggest potential savings. It is an observability and decision-support service, not a model gateway, procurement adviser or substitute for your own testing and governance.
2. Estimates may differ
Costs, projected spend, event totals and estimated savings depend on submitted metadata, model-name matching, registry prices, token usage, observation periods and other assumptions. They may differ from provider invoices because of negotiated pricing, caching, batch discounts, regional pricing, taxes, credits, minimum commitments, currency conversion, provider changes or incomplete data.
Pricing and model availability can change without notice. A high-confidence recommendation is not a guarantee of savings or suitability.
3. Recommendations are advisory
Workload classifications, model alternatives, confidence scores, quality-risk ratings, Prompt Waste Signals, migration steps and private-model candidates are automated or rule-based indicators. They do not guarantee equivalent output quality, factual accuracy, safety, latency, throughput, uptime, context handling, tool use, structured-output compatibility or regulatory compliance.
4. Your evaluation is required
Before changing a model, prompt or production workflow, you should test representative inputs and edge cases and assess quality, safety, security, privacy, licensing, data residency, provider terms, availability and rollback requirements. You are responsible for production decisions and their consequences.
You should reconcile SpendLens estimates against your provider invoices before relying on them for accounting, budgeting or contractual commitments.
5. No professional advice
The Service and its content do not constitute financial, accounting, tax, legal, privacy, cybersecurity, investment or procurement advice. Information is general and does not take account of your circumstances. Obtain qualified professional advice where appropriate.
6. AI and third-party services
Third-party model names, trademarks and pricing are used for identification and comparison. References do not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement. Providers control their models, prices, terms, data handling and availability. We are not responsible for third-party outputs or services except to the extent required by law.
7. Information and availability
We take reasonable care in operating the Service, but information may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect and the Service may be unavailable. You should maintain your own records, monitoring, backups and business-continuity arrangements.
